What an excellent eye-opener! And all the pertinent cases in history to back it up. Thank you for revealing the the true motives of the US in the current conflict. Will be sharing this widely.
Excellent article, Josh (although I'm writing mid-reading and then will finish). Your point corresponds to my new episode, We Need to Agree to Agree--on a purpose, a process to discern truth from lies, and a plan. I talk about the dichotomy of good vs. evil and the theodicy triangle that show evil can't exist unless God is evil or Evil is god, meaning more powerful.
And I talk about The Origin of Satan by Bible historian Elaine Pagels that shows that the devil was a representation for the near-enemy, the enemy within, the Judeans who were revolting--and won!--against the Roman Empire. Both new and old testaments were only written or compiled AFTER the "fall" of Jerusalem, their betrayal from within. And they were written (or compiled) by those who did the betraying.
So I suggest in my episode that we put all our sacred cows on the table, define the entire realm of possibilities, and then have a methodology for factors that make them more or less credible. And I bring up the most "worthy" of devils, Hitler and the Nazis. You might enjoy it.

The reality is Putin is a pro-liberal and modest politician that Russia can accept today. There is a good chance his successor will be much more aggressive towards the West.
